Reverse Acrylic Painting on Plexiglas

2019

26" x 34"

ALL SALES FINAL

My reverse painting process allows me to intuitively approach themes of nature while playing with the idea of energy and light as its own language and color as its own content.

A Note from the Artist

"When viewing a work on Plexiglas one is immediately struck by the vivid and luminous color. The painting is viewed from the opposite side from which it was created and this turning around of the piece dramatically changes the color. Light hits the surface and makes the paintings glow brilliantly from within."

I paint subjects such as Landscapes, Oceanscapes, Forms in Nature, the Human Figure and Animals. I work in several styles ranging from intuitive expressionistic abstract painting to impressionistic scenes in nature where I get to explore form and my love for drawing and detail. Learn More

All original painting purchases are carefully packaged and shipped in either a special padded artwork shipper or wooden crate directly from the artist's studio in California.

Due to the wide variety of image sizes, frames, and weights of the original artwork, shipping will be coordinated directly between the artist and the buyer once the purchase has been made. The buyer will have the option to decide which packing and shipping method best suits their needs, but the artist requires everyone purchase additional shipping insurance to safeguard their new original artwork investment.

To receive a shipping quote prior to purchase, please CONTACT ME and provide the name of the piece you wish to purchase, your complete address including zip code and contact number.

Hand delivery and local pick up from the Rachel Shultz Art Studio can also be arranged for buyers located within the Los Angeles metro area.
