In 2005, I traveled to Brazil for healing and inspiration. I witnessed passionate dance rituals, animals I had only seen in books, and slow boat rides down the Amazonian river. I stepped over moths as big as footballs, played with monkeys that ate sugar from my hands, and learned about the Orishas and how to release deep emotion by giving gifts to the ocean.
